Topcon announces Sitelink3D app for Android

Topcon Positioning Group announces Sitelink3D real-time 3D management service is now cross-platform compatible for mobile devices. Initially available on iOS platforms, the app now has expanded availability to support Android devices.  Regardless of platform, when field operators or managers are away from the desk, the app is designed to provide instant access to project data and ongoing activities for any job site.

“At Topcon, we constantly develop products to accommodate the personal preferences of our customers  — the cross-platform compatibility of Sitelink3D to support both iOS and Android is a testament to this.  It has never been easier for Android users to take advantage of the tools Sitelink3D offers for site management, fleet management and operations,” said David Ahl, director of software product management.  “Whether operators prefer to use their phone or tablet, our Sitelink3D app provides an excellent option to stay connected while on the go.”

The Sitelink3D app requires the Android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system or higher, as well as an Enterprise subscription to an active Sitelink3D server for full functionality.

The Android version of the app is currently available to purchase using Google Play.
