Topcon announces strategic investment in DDK Positioning

Topcon Positioning Systems announced it has made a strategic investment in DDK Positioning Ltd, an Aberdeen based specialist in GNSS receivers and PPP correction services. DDK Positioning delivers services exclusively over the Iridium® network to provide global precision positioning services that can augment GNSS constellations to significantly enhance their accuracy for critical industrial applications. Terms of the investment are not being disclosed.

Topcon further expands MC-X platform with all-new GNSS option for compact equipment

Topcon Positioning Systems has announced the availability of a new global navigation satellite system (GNSS) option for its MC-Mobile compact machine control solution. Rounding out the company’s compact solutions portfolio, this GNSS option allows contractors to easily integrate their compact machines into fleets already powered by GNSS technology. This expansion gives owners of skid steers, compact track loaders (CTL) and mini excavators the broadest offering of machine control options to date.
Topcon Positioning Systems has purchased construction software and data integrations and services company Digital Construction Works (DCW). DCW’s services and software integration platform will help customers navigate and maximize the use of construction data made available across multiple apps and software.
