Topcon Agriculture announces enhanced sprayer performance with new features
TURIN, Italy – November 15, 2017 – Topcon Agriculture introduces new sprayer features to enhance existing Horizon and ISOBUS UT capabilities. Key features are designed to improve operators’ application performance with individual nozzle control and improved drift management using the NORAC UC7 for automatic boom height control.
“The sprayer controller software interfaces to Topcon Apollo ECU to provide industry-leading control of all sprayer functionalities,” said Fabio Isaia, CEO of Topcon Agriculture.
“The system is easily scalable and expandable to allow control of basic systems up to advanced systems with control of auxiliary functions such as: automatic tank fill, control of up to four spray lines with automatic line switching, individual nozzle control, rinse tank control with programmable automatic wash cycles, hydraulic folding functions and pump speed control and monitoring,” said Isaia.
Customers can further improve efficiencies with the addition of the NORAC UC7. The UC7 is an automatic boom height control system designed to offer state-of-the-art boom performance on a wide-variety of center sections. “The UC7 is AEF certified and provides full control at your fingertips with Topcon X-Family consoles,” said Isaia.
